I moved to Scotland in 2003 intending to explore wild places. This website is about some of those adventures.
You’ll see Inca, my dog, in many of the earlier pictures. She was a very happy camper and saw guarding a tent in the wild as her superpower. Here’s a picture of her in 2016 when this gallery was still running on Harris.
This blog is restarting in 2026. There are earlier entries from around 2016 to 2020, mostly wild camping and some long distance walking.
